Mouse package design
Production date: March 2023 (1 month in class time)
The original design packaging:

My Redesign Goal:
- Eco-friendly (all paper packaging).
- Integrated molding cutting.
- The box is small and rectangular, which is easy to transport.
- Easy for users to open.
- Make sure the mouse doesn’t move around in the box.
- Plenty of room for the manual and USB receiver.
- There are holes for hanging on shelves.
Iterative process video:
First Try
Goal: To make appropriate size box with a lid.
Issue: The mouse will wiggle around in the box. The lid is easy to open.
Second Try:
Goal: To make a box with: reliable lids, internal filling to avoid shaking, the hole for hook.
Issue: No design location for USB receiver. Internal filling structure will jam the lid. Internal filling structure is shaky.
Third Try:
Goal: Design a groove for USB receiver. Avoid internal filling to sticks the lid. Strengthen the structural parts.
Issue: Hard to take up. The bottom needs a closed lid.
Fourth Try
Goal: Design a handle for the internal support. Redesign the bottom. More secure packaging.
